Comic Con 2012

I was lucky enough to once again attend Comic Con San Diego!! Here are some my trips highlights

Happy Mother's Day

Unfinished Piece

A piece I was working on for an ad that wasn't able to get done, so i decided to share it on here. Done in photoshop.

Happy Leap Day!

Picture Day

One of my favourite Disney scenes done in Family Guy style

2011's Highlight for me

I'm sure everyone saw these two little girls from England in their awesome and adorable Youtube Video. I wanted to draw them before the year ended. If you haven't seen their video it is below.

Shit Girls Say

I am such a big fan of the hilarious youtube video "Shit Girls Say", done by two really cool local Torontonians. If you haven't seen it

Camp Excelsior

Here is an idea I was working on for a cartoon pitch.

SCOTIABANK Walk For Life PSA

Back from San Diego Comic Con 2011

I was so fortunate to get a chance to check out Comic Con this year for the first time with my Brother. It was amazing. I saw some great panels and sneak peeks. Met and got feedback with some of my dream studios such as Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. I met with some of my favourite artist and walked away with some great advice (special thanks to Stephen Silver, who could not have been nicer). Below is a handful of pics from the trip.

My all time favourite picture! Me and Alvin!

Nickelodeon invited us for a very early sneak peek at the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. Shredder's design looks amazing!

15 Storey Smurf! How could the city get any better for sightseeing?

Jessica Rabbit

Jessica Rabbit again

I was so excited to see The Fairly Odd Parents! Ask me to show you pictures of the year me and my two buddies dressed up as them for Halloween.

Scooby-Doo Gals!

I think my enthusiasm may have scared Pappa Smurf a little bit.

Darkwing Duck! Awesome.

Green Man times 2.

Me and Princess Fiona

The first costume I saw that was worth taking. They seriously wanted me to wait for them to put their moustaches on, but I preferred it this way.

Work In Progress

I really enjoy the chivalry theme in the Stella Artois ads. I drew this a few weeks back and have been trying to paint it in Photoshop. In the meantime however, I decided to post up the drawing for you to see.

Am I That Horrible to Stay With?

My cousin's two kids are staying with me for the week. His six year old daughter saw me working on my computer and drawing on my tablet. She decided to push me aside and make her own drawing. I hope whatever this means, is no reflection of how her visit is going.

Who is This? Find out at ppttoronto.blogspot.com

I have decided to start a new blog. This one will capture all the wacky, interesting and thought provoking people and places and things I encounter in this great city. To see the finished version of this piece and to view my new blog, please visit the People, Places and Things of Toronto Blog at: www.ppttoronto.blogspot..com

My favourite place that you cannot know about.

A drawing I just did of the manager of my favourite new coffee shop. Really great place and awesome atmosphere. Everyone there is so friendly so I did drawing of him and his daughter. Thankfully it is still a new place, so not a lot of people know about it. So I won't mention its name, to ensure my seat is always there waiting for me, lol.

Updated PSA Characters

I have been asked to increase the age of the characters as mentioned before. Here is a first pass of that attempt. I hope they like it.

Just having fun reworking my PSA characters

I have been asked to increase the age of my characters for my PSA, so the high school kids could better relate. But I also decided to have some fun and rework the coach. If you don't remeber the original design, scroll down to find it.

Working on Feminine Posing

Just playing around with some female posing.
